recovery；　　　more　　　in　　　the　　　fear　　　of　　　losing　　　his　　　place　　　than　　　in　　　that　　　of　　　losing　　　his　

master：　the　prince's　first　inquiry　was　for　the　prisoner　he　had　been　on　the
