只有一位 神，在 神和人中间，只有一位中保，乃是降世为人的基督耶稣（提前2：5）。 以色列啊，你要听！耶和华我的 神是独一的主（申6：4）。中保本不是为一面作的， 神却是一位（加3：20）。我们与我们的祖宗一同犯罪，我们作了孽，行了恶。我们的祖宗在埃及不明白你的奇事，不记念你丰盛的慈爱。所以他说要灭绝他们，若非有他所拣选的摩西站在当中，使他的忿怒转消，恐怕他就灭绝他们（诗106：6，7，23）。
同蒙天召的圣洁弟兄啊，你们应当思想我们所认为

到我这里来的，我总不丢弃他（约6：37）。 他哀求我，我就应允，因为我是有恩惠的（出22：27）。我却不厌弃他们，也不厌恶他们，将他们尽行灭绝，也不背弃我与他们所立的约，因为我是耶和华他们的 神（利26：44）。我要追念在你幼年时与你所立的约，也要与你立定永约（结16：60）。 耶和华说：你们来，我们彼此辨论。你们的罪虽像朱红，必变成雪白；虽红如丹颜，必白如羊毛（赛1：18）。恶人当离弃自己的道路，不义的人当除掉自己的意念，归向耶和华，耶和华就必怜恤他；当归向我们的 神，因为 神必广行赦免（赛55：7）。耶稣啊，你得国降临的时候，求你记念我！耶稣对他说：我实在告诉你，今日你要同我在乐园里了（路23：42，43）。 压伤的芦苇，他不折断；将残的灯火，他不吹灭（赛42：3）。 Him that eth to me I will in no wise cast out。 It shall e to pass； when he crieth unto me； that I will hear； for I am gracious。 — I will not cast them away； neither will I abhor them； to destroy them utterly； and to break my covenant with them： for I am the LORD their God。 — I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth； and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant。
