　Faith；　if　it　hath　not　works；　is　dead；　being　alone。　—

　　神赐给我们永生，这永生也是在他儿子里面（约壹5：11）。　
　　父怎样在自己有生命，就赐给他儿子也照样在自己有生命。父怎样叫死人起来，使他们活着，子也照样随自己的意思使人活着（约5：26，21）。复活在我，生命也在我；信我的人，虽然死了，也必复活。凡活着信我的人必永远不死（约11：25，26）。我是好牧人，好牧人为羊舍命。我将命舍去，好再取回来。没有人夺我的命去，是我自己舍的。我有权柄舍了，也有权柄取回来，这是我从我父所受的命令（约10：11，17，18）。若不藉着我，没有人能到父那里去（约14：6）。人有了　神的

　　你们若顺从肉体活着必要死，若靠着圣灵治死身体的恶行必要活着（罗8：13）。　情欲的事都是显而易见的，就如奸淫、污秽等类，我从前告诉你们，现在又告诉你们，行这样事的人必不能承受　神的国。圣灵所结的果子，就是仁爱、喜乐、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信实、温柔、节制。这样的事，没有律法禁止。凡属基督耶稣的人，是已经把肉体连肉体的邪情私欲同钉在十字架上了。我们若是靠圣灵得生，就当靠圣灵行事（加5：19，21…25）。　神救众人的恩典已经显明出来，教训我们除去不敬虔的心和世俗的情欲，在今世自守、公义、敬虔度日，等候所盼望的福，并等候至大的　神和我们救主耶稣基督的荣耀显现。他为我们舍了自己，要赎我们脱离一切罪恶，又洁净我们，特作自己的子民，热心为善（多2：11…14）。　　If　ye　live　after　the　flesh；　ye　shall　die：　but　if　ye　through　the　Spirit　do　mortify　the　deeds　of　the　body；　ye　shall　live。
