那眼目如火焰的 神之子（启2：18）。
人心比万物都诡诈，坏到极处，谁能识透呢？我耶和华是鉴察人心、试验人肺腑的，要照各人所行的和他作事的结果报应他（耶17：9，10）。你将我们的罪孽摆在你面前，将我们的隐恶摆在你面光之中（诗90：8）。主转过身来看彼得。……他就出去痛哭（路22：6l，62）。耶稣却不将自己交托他们，因为他知道万人；也用不着谁见证人怎样，因他知道人心里所存的（约2：24，25）。

那城内又不用日月光照，因有 神的荣耀光照，又有羔羊为城的灯（启21：23）。 我在路上，看见从天发光，比日头还亮，四面照着我。我说：主啊，你是谁？主说：我就是你所逼迫的耶稣（徒26：13，15）。耶稣带着彼得、雅各和雅各的兄弟约翰暗暗地上了高山，就在他们面前变了形像，脸面明亮如日头，衣裳洁白如光（太17：1，2）。日头不再作你白昼的光，月亮也不再发光照耀你；耶和华却要作你永远的光，你 神要为你的荣耀。你的日头不再下落，你的月亮也不退缩；因为耶和华必作你永远的光，你悲哀的日子也完毕了（赛60：l9，20）。 那赐诸般恩典的 神曾在基督里召你们，得享他永远的荣耀（彼前5：10）。 The city had no need of the sun； neither of the moon； to shine in it： for the glory of God did lighten it； and the Lamb is the light thereof。 I saw in the way a light from heaven； above the brightness of the sun； shining round about me。 And I said； Who art thou； Lord？ And he said； I am Jesus whom thou persecutest。 — Jesus taketh Peter； James； and John his brother； and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart； and was transfigured before them： and his face did shine as the sun； and his raiment was white as the light。 — The sun shall be no more thy light by day； neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee： but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light； and thy God thy glory。 Thy sun shall no more go down； neither shall thy moon withdraw itself： for the LORD shall be thine ever…lasting light； and the days of thy mourning shall be ended。 The God of all grace； 。。。 hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus。 REV。 21：23。 Acts 26：13；15。 …Matt。 17：1；2。 …Isa。 60：19；20。 I Pet。 5：10。
